BV Corporation – Over 40 Years of Innovation Serving Maintenance Professionals

Founded in France in 1982, BV Corporation initially specialised in the import and distribution of innovative products for automotive professionals. Over the years, close collaboration with workshops, maintenance centres and end users enabled the company to gain an in-depth understanding of field requirements and the operational challenges encountered daily by maintenance technicians.

As customer expectations evolved and European regulations became increasingly demanding, BV Corporation progressively moved from distributing third-party products to designing and developing its own solutions. This strategic evolution enabled the company to deliver products better suited to users' real needs while maintaining full control over product design, quality and long-term development.

This transition led to the creation of several proprietary product ranges and brands during the 1990s, including MEGABOOST® starting units and EZ SEAL® tyre repair systems, both developed to provide professionals with practical, reliable and durable solutions.

More than forty years of experience in high-power electrical systems, battery technologies and professional maintenance equipment naturally opened the way to new industrial sectors sharing the same requirements for reliability, safety and operational performance.

The company's move into the aviation industry was therefore not a change of direction, but the natural evolution of expertise built over decades.

Aircraft and helicopter maintenance require stable electrical power supplies, high starting currents, absolute reliability and equipment capable of protecting increasingly sophisticated onboard electrical and avionics systems. These requirements perfectly matched the technical expertise BV Corporation had developed over many years in professional electrical equipment.

This evolution led to the development of MEGABOOST AVIATION, a comprehensive range of Ground Power Units (GPUs) designed to meet the operational requirements of aircraft manufacturers, maintenance organisations, helicopter operators, business aviation companies, airports and airlines.

Today, MEGABOOST AVIATION offers a complete range of 28 VDC and 115V / 400Hz Ground Power Units for both civil and military aviation. The range includes continuous power supply units, aircraft starting units, combined power supply and starting units, as well as fully electric and rechargeable e-GPU solutions.

The development of the e-GPU range perfectly illustrates BV Corporation's commitment to innovation. While conventional airport Ground Power Units generally rely on diesel engines or generator sets to provide electrical power to aircraft over extended periods, BV Corporation has developed a fully electric and rechargeable alternative capable of supplying aircraft and helicopters with power for several hours without fuel consumption, local emissions or engine noise. This innovation supports the aviation industry's environmental transition while meeting the operational expectations of maintenance professionals and airport operators.

Innovation at BV Corporation extends well beyond electrical ground power solutions. The company has also developed recognised expertise in designing professional tooling solutions for aircraft maintenance workshops.

Working with leading international tool manufacturers, BV Corporation carefully selects the most appropriate tools for each application in order to create professional tool kits perfectly suited to the various disciplines of aircraft maintenance. This approach enables the company to provide maintenance professionals with complete, reliable and ready-to-use tool solutions that meet the highest quality standards.

Beyond tool selection, BV Corporation designs and manufactures custom tool control foam inserts specifically developed to comply with the regulatory and operational requirements of the aviation industry, particularly regarding FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and visual tool control. The two-colour anti-FOD foam systems developed under the DUPLICATOR range allow immediate identification of missing tools and contribute to improving maintenance safety.

These professional tool kits are then integrated into workshop tool trolleys or heavy-duty portable tool cases designed for both hangar maintenance and field service operations. All these storage solutions are designed, developed and assembled in France, ensuring high standards of quality, customisation and responsiveness.

Further demonstrating its commitment to innovation, BV Corporation has designed and developed a unique workshop tool trolley featuring a foldable, retractable and reversible side platform that can be used as a work surface, computer station or document holder. More than a conventional tool trolley, it is a fully integrated mobile workstation designed to improve ergonomics, efficiency and the digitalisation of modern aircraft maintenance workshops.

Since its foundation, every product developed by BV Corporation has followed the same philosophy: listening carefully to users and understanding real operational challenges. Every new solution is created to solve practical problems encountered by maintenance professionals. Whenever existing products do not fully meet customer expectations, the company develops its own innovative solutions to deliver better performance, greater practicality and long-term reliability.

Every development is driven by one simple belief: innovation only has value when it provides tangible benefits to the professionals who use it every day.

More than forty years after its creation, this philosophy continues to drive BV Corporation's development: understanding operational requirements, selecting the best available technologies, innovating whenever necessary and providing professionals with reliable, high-performance solutions that evolve alongside their industries. This commitment remains, today as ever, the very foundation of BV Corporation's DNA.
